RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Acceptance of General Rules

1.1. Acceptance

1.1.1. Each Team Member must agree to these General Rules and the applicable

Competition-Specific Rules in order to participate in our Tournament. A Team

Member may accept these General Rules or the applicable Competition-Specific Rules by registering to participate in an Official Competition in accordance with the Registration Requirements or by participating in any Tournament.

1.2. Changes to General Rules and Competition-Specific Rules

These General Rules and the Competition-Specific Rules will have to be updated or supplemented periodically to take account of developments. Any material changes to these General Rules or the Competition-Specific Rules will be provided to the Team’s

Team Captain using the email address listed as part of the online registration process. Each Team Captain will be responsible for distributing updates and other communications relating to these General Rules and the Competition-Specific Rules to other Team Members.

2.Players

2.1. Player Age. In order to be eligible to participate in a Tournament as a player, an individual must have reached 14 years of age or older (i.e., the player has lived for at least 14 calendar years) as of the Tournament start date. All players participating in Battleground Mobile India (henceforth BGMI) competitions must enter their BGMI IGN ID. The game account is needed to check if the correct player is playing. (By Their Own Team leader)

2.2. Ranking Requirement. All players on a Team’s roster must have held a ranking for BGMI of “Platinum” or above, in TPP and Account level must be 20+, at the time of registration for the Competition.

2.3. Multiple Teams. Players may not play for or contract with more than one Team at a time. If a player enters such an arrangement or contract, Tournament Officials reserve the right to bar the player from playing any future matches until the situation has been resolved and the player is in compliance with the requirements in this Section.

2.4. Roster. Team rosters must consist of at least the minimum four players required to participate in the Tournament. Teams are only allowed to play with players on their roster with a registered game account. All roster changes must be made 2-3 days before the start of the tournament. Playing with different players and illegal ringers will result in punishment.

Incorrect information will result in the score not being calculated and zero points will be awarded to the team for that match.

3. Players Conduct

Players are expected to conduct themselves professionally and maintain sportsman spirit throughout the entirety of the tournament, including, but not limited to, inside and outside of the tournament, qualifiers, interviews, and the Finals. Warnings or penalties may be issued for any of the following:

  • Language: In all languages, Players may not use obscene gestures, profanity, and/or racist comments in game chat, lobby chat, or live interviews. This includes abbreviations and/or obscure references. League Administrators reserve the right to enforce this at their own discretion. These rules also apply for forums, emails, personal messages, WhatsApp and Discord channels.

  • Behavior: Persons are required to behave in a sportsmanlike manner towards other competitors, members of the League Administration team, media, and fans.

  • In-Game Presence: Players involved in the tournament are required to follow all in-game rules that are part of BGMI Content Creation – Teams are responsible for the assurance of the appropriateness of the content that they produce including, but not limited to: Social Media Presence, Videos, Streams, and Interviews. Disputes and Redress – Any general disputes a person may have with the current operation of the League should first be addressed by messaging a League Operator via Discord or WhatsApp. Failure to follow proper procedure for disputes will result in denial of the dispute and the possibility of further penalties or Disqualification or Permanent Ban From The Series.

  • Illegal substances and PED-s: Team members may not be under the influence or in possession of illegal substances or performance-enhancing drugs (PED). In addition to the standard Code of Conduct penalties, any offending Players may be handed over to the authorities in accordance with the local laws and/or disqualified from participation. Alcohol – Team members that are intoxicated during any event may be disqualified at the discretion of the Tournament Organizer.

  • Cheating: Any form of cheating will not be tolerated. If the Organizer determines that a Player is cheating, the Player or team will be immediately disqualified and removed from the tournament and may be restricted from participating in future events.

  • Software Exploitation: Any intentional use of any bugs or exploits in the game may result in a forfeit of the Match and disqualification from the tournament. Bugs and exploits will be determined at the discretion of Krafton and/or the Tournament Organizer’s.

  • Collusion and Match Fixing: Players are not allowed to intentionally alter the results of any Match. If the organizer determines that a Player or team is colluding or Match fixing, the Player or team will be immediately disqualified and removed from the tournament and may be restricted from participating in future events. Players must compete to the best of their ability at all times.

  • Gambling: Anyone associated with Krafton is forbidden from placing wagers on any Matches or actions in, or around Battleground Mobile India. Unless expressly stated otherwise, offenses and infringements of these Player Conduct rules are punishable, whether or not they were committed intentionally. Attempting to commit any offenses or infringements is also punishable.

4. General Instruction

4.1. Game version. All players must install the latest version of the game in order to participate in the Gamicon India BGMI Series. Updates must be installed before the tournament starts, so delays will be at a minimum.

4.2. Technical Issues. Teams are responsible for their own technical issues

(hardware/internet). Matches will not be rescheduled because of technical issues and matches will be played nevertheless. If the warm-up time in the starting area is exceeded or the player gets out to lobby, but still the game goes on, even if the issue is not solved yet. In case of massive problems influencing a significant number of players, a restart of the map may be called via the tournament's support channels on Discord or by any other mode of communication, but it's totally organiser’s/management’s decision.

4.3. Participation. Slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from the date of registration starts. The total number of slots will be announced before the start of the tournament. Lobby teams count will be announced before the start of the match or a day prior. So all the team manager or captain keep active in discord or whatsapp.

4.4. Disqualification. To keep tournaments as efficient as possible, Gamicon India Esports reserves the right to disqualify teams. This will only be done in cases where a team purposefully stalls or attempts to block the cup from starting.

In the case of any allegation, management will have rights to ask POV of recording for any player at the end of tournament, if you failed to provide POV, Management will have right to disqualify or reduce points.

Usage of GFX, and other 3rd party programs that enhance, add, modify, or remove the game appearance, colour, or files, is strictly prohibited.

Intentionally changing your character's angle to look through a texture or object is prohibited. You are not allowed to set two actions to the same key in key bindings.

The intentional use of any bugs, cheats, glitches, or errors in the game is strictly forbidden and will be penalized. Any team found to be using any known exploit will forfeit their game upon the first occurrence of the exploit. If the team is found to use another known exploit for a second time and it is determined to have been done on purpose they will be removed from the tournament and barred from any future tournaments.

  • Match Ranking system. followed by same match Total points ( Finish point + Position Point)

  • Overall Ranking system. followed by Total Points (Sum of Finish point + Sum of Position Points)

  • In case of tie breaker. ranking will be decided in order of total points accumulated, no.of wins, total survival time, total kills in the complete tournament. .

7. Other Information

7.1. Game preparations. Make available your player before 10 mins of ID

Password.Please resolve any problems that might occur before a match starts. Connection or hardware problems during a match could lead to disqualification or Point given by Zero as per admin decision. Make sure all players are eligible to play. In team games, all players must be registered for their corresponding team's roster.

7.2. Substitute Players. It is only allowed to substitute a player before the match starts. If the match is started all 4 players of a team must play the game until the end. It is possible to switch players between the maps. A team is allowed to have 1 substitute players.

7.3. Number of players. Teams are allowed to play one match per round with 3 players, in case of technical problems.

7.4. Disconnects. In the case that a player(s) disconnects during a match, the team is allowed to continue to play the match at a disadvantage.

7.5.Forfeit. Participants can choose to forfeit a match if they wish. Forfeiting will result in 0 points from that match, if it continues, possible for penalty points or disqualification as per admin decision.

7.6.Results. All results will be input by Skyesports personnel. If anything is unclear, participants should have screenshots available to verify the result with admin through discord helpdesk

7.7.Device. Iphone or Other Mobile devices or Ipad(Tabs) are allowed to play. Emulators are not allowed.

  1. 9.Slots & Groups. Every team will be assigned a Slot and Groups before the match starts.while in the room must join with your squad corresponding to his/her Slot Number. Repeatedly joining other teams will result in disqualification of the individual from the Tournament.

  1. Important Rule

Management Holds The Right To Alter Any Rules At Any Point Of Time If Required. Managements Decision Will Be The Last Decision 7 cant be overturned, Any Team found Arguing with management Will Be penalized or Disqualified from the tournament.
